Welcome! I'm Sarah, an experienced dyslexia and SpLD assessor with around 25 years' experience. Whether you're looking for an assessment, advice or workplace support, you'll find a warm, friendly and professional approach alongside a wealth of information to help you decide what's right for you or your child.

Based in Crawley Down, near East Grinstead, I work with children, young people and adults from across Sussex and Surrey, including Crawley, East Grinstead, Horsham, Reigate and Redhill but also from across Kent and London. I'm located near London Gatwick Airport. Most services for adults and students in year 7+ can alternatively be provided online via Zoom and I regularly work with clients from across the UK and around the world.

Unsure what type of neurodiversity you/your child may have or which type of professional to turn to? A friendly 30-minute Discovery Call over Zoom gives you space to talk things through and get clear advice on your next steps - wherever you live and with no obligation to book an assessment. If you book an assessment within 6 months, £25 will be deducted from its cost.

Full diagnostic dyslexia assessment

Much more than 'just' a dyslexia assessment. Alongside a full diagnostic dyslexia/literacy assessment, I consider the wider picture and identify whether further referral may be helpful for needs such as ADHD, autism, language or, for children, dyspraxia. For those aged 16+, the assessment can also explore a profile of DCD/dyspraxia. Reports can be used when applying for the Disabled Students' Allowance. Available online for adults and secondary school students.

Full diagnostic maths / dyscalculia assessment

Much more than 'just' a maths assessment. I explore a wide range of maths skills to establish whether difficulties are consistent with dyscalculia or a specific learning difficulty in maths. I consider the wider picture and identify whether further referral may be helpful for needs such as ADHD, autism, language or, for children, dyspraxia. For those aged 16+, the assessment can also explore a profile of DCD/dyspraxia. Reports can be used when applying for the Disabled Students' Allowance. Available in-person.

Workplace services

Practical, personalised workplace support for neurodivergent adults. Online workplace needs assessments explore reasonable adjustments for suspected or diagnosed neurodiversity while coaching provides individual strategies from a qualified ADHD and neurodiversity workplace strategy coach. Wherever you live, Sarah brings 30 years' experience of working with adults to find practical solutions.

Exam access arrangements

Flexible online and in-person exam access arrangements for schools and colleges - from individual students to larger cohorts. JCQ form 8s are returned within 48 hours. I have extensive experience working with private schools, including seeing students individually outside school hours and can also assess adults sitting professional body exams.
