ADHD Coaching for those age 16+ (online)

Wherever you live in the world, ADHD coaching might be just what you need if:

  • you have or you think you have ADHD

  • the symptoms of ADHD are impacting you in one or more aspects of your life, such as when studying, at work, in your social life, in basic self-care, e.g., eating behaviours

  • you're looking to work with someone who has personal and professional experience around ADHD to explore very practical strategies, such as around habit stacking

  • you might also welcome a conversation about what ADHD is, whether you're contemplating a diagnostic assessment or processing a diagnosis

It's very easy to look at others who seem to juggle life more easily (such as staying on top of study/work deadlines, finances, relationships, responses, self care) and wonder how they do this when it's something you've always found tricky. It may take a lot of effort to stay afloat and you might mask your challenges in front of others in fear of 'being found out'...or you may find that everything has just become too much and you're feel extremely stuck or out of control.

You may find that diagnosed or potential ADHD affects how you connect with your body (which affects how you regulate your eating, drinking, sleeping, etc.), leads to impulsive behaviours (including spending), results in zoning out and losing time, and impacts how you see yourself.

Specialist ADHD coaching is a little different to traditional coaching as whilst my role is to facilitate the space and help you identify solutions, it's also about learning more about ADHD including practical strategies and information that I can share with you. With me, you'll be in a very warm, personable, safe, confidential, non-judgemental space where we can explore your next steps to move towards your desired future. You'll have support in place. You won't have to do this alone.

Do I already need to have a diagnosis to access this service?

No, you don't. Whether you have been diagnosed with ADHD or suspect you have it, we can work together.....

What's involved? What are my next steps?

Each session is 55 minutes long and a standard ADHD coaching programme has 6 sessions although these can be extended if appropriate. They're held over Zoom. These sessions can be offered weekly and/or fortnightly and they're usually offered after 4.30pm until late night Tuesday to Saturday. There may be a delay if wanting to book the same day/time each week but otherwise the sessions can usually start straightway if you're open to booking one session at a time.

  1. If interested, please contact me through this website or email me at [email protected] I'll send you an introductory information sheet about coaching along with a link to an online enquiry form.

  2. On completion of this enquiry form, I'll contact you to arrange a free 15 minute Coaching Discovery Call so you can establish whether you'd like to work with me.

  3. If you wish to go ahead, I'll share payment details and an online document to complete before your first session to help identify your initial goals. We'll also arrange the date and time of your first session.

  4. At the end of each session we'll confirm the date/time of our next meet up. After each session, you'll receive an email if there're links or information sheets that would benefit from being shared.

How much is the coaching and when do I pay?

The current cost of a 6 session programme of ADHD coaching is £575. This can be paid:

  • in full before the first session, or

  • 50% before the first session; the remaining 50% before session 4 takes place.

A reminder will be emailed 48 hours before each session. Dates can be changed at no additional cost with at least 24 hours' notice. If less than 24 hours' notice is given, an additional fee of £50 will be paid for a new time slot in the same week where possible.

Other relevant information

I've been a specialist assessor for almost 25 years, I've fairly recently qualified as a workplace needs assessor and I was previously a tutor (in adult, further and higher education including delivering teacher training). Whilst ADHD can be diagnosed only through the medical route, I completed training around ADHD assessments at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, London with UKAAN so that I can explore clients' profiles (age 18+) for the signs of ADHD for which university students can use my reports. Regarding this coaching role, I hold the Universal Coaching Alliance Certificate in ADHD Coaching and the Association for Coaching Award in ADHD Coaching. I have personal experience of having ADHD and therefore, whilst I try to embrace many elements of it, I also understand the impact it can have.
